From my phone this evening so this will be brief. Pirates Cove Marina to Demopolis, AL... I traveled about 90 mi today. End of the Tenn-Tom and beginning of the Black Warrior River to Bobby’s Fish Camp, about 100 miles to go tomorrow. Around Bobby’s may begin to see alligators. Remote from here to Mobile and not much communication. So much more I want to share, especially concerning the people I’ve met. Will have to wait until I have a good connection. 1. I read that alligators have the ability to survive for 2-3 years without eating. On the other hand, they will eat anything that gets in their way. But you are safe as long as you are on the back of one. Look out for those creatures!

  2. Be careful of those gators. Hope you enjoy your trip Lyn - looks like the journey of a lifetime!

  3. We left Lyn at Bobby's Fish Camp at 1700 on the 25th of May. The Horton Boat consisting of Earl Horton, Ray Sanders and Cliff Rhodes had become great friends with Lyn in a very few days. Time on the water together tends to do that. Lyn's next leg to Mobile should be completed on the 26th and we can all expect his next post.
